Was delighted to see my black clay vessels featured in the current issue of Green Magazine. It is one of my favourite journals and I regularly drool over the innovative sustainable homes they feature. The magazine encompasses much that I hold dear - materiality, light, gardens, smart design...

Clunes Ceramic Award 2017
These handbuilt porcelain vessels have been selected for this year's Clunes Ceramic Award. They were made after a residency I undertook at Fiskars, an artists collective village deep in the forests of Finland. I spent time observing and documenting the nearby woodland as my way of coming to terms with unfamiliar surroundings.

Urban Light - Winter, 2012
Manningham Council acquired this work, Urban Light - Winter 2012, for its art collection a few years ago and i'm really pleased to be part of this exhibition survey. Landscape is a recurring theme across many of the paintings and some of the ceramics collection. I feel honoured to be in such good company. The exhibition is on until July 29.
Victorian Craft Award
Really happy to be a finalist in the 2017 Victorian Craft Award. It's a great snapshot of all the creativity that's taking place across Victoria. This is my entry, which is based on a residency I had in Finland. Fiskars is a small village surrounded by birch forests. While there, I was drawn to the graphic pattern of the tree trunks.

Ceramic Matchmaking - The Journal of Australian Ceramics
I interview Cup Collaboration curator and ceramicist Adriana Christianson about what sparked her idea of teaming up potters to collaborate on cups. This is the second year running she has paired up 62 potters from around the world to each produce their own cup and then collaborate on two more cups. The article is in the November issue of The Journal of Australian Ceramics.
Collaboration with coffee roasters Sensory Lab
It has been great to collaborate with speciality coffee roasters Sensory Lab - discussing what style, what glaze, and what colour of cup would suit their special coffee blends. In the end we decided on two styles - one darker stoneware mug with a clear grey glaze and one lighter stoneware mug with a creamy satin glaze which is pictured below

Bluestone Collection Acquisition

Very pleased that this work has been acquired by the Bluestone Collection from the recent exhibition 'New Primitives' at Stockroom Gallery, Victoria. Curator Magali Gentric selected 12 Australian artists whose work featured 'a renewed engagement with primitivism in contemporary ceramics'.
